Dr. James “Jim” A. Dempsey

Dr. Jim Dempsey has been serving the community of West Des Moines since graduating from the University of Iowa's College of Dentistry in 1983. He was part of a group dental practice for 14 years before opening Westbrooke Family Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Dempsey is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and the Des Moines District Dental Society. His specialty is making patients comfortable regardless of the dental treatment they receive.

The staff at Westbrooke Family Dentistry understands the importance of having a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere when visiting the dentist. That is why we strive to provide a soothing environment for our patients. Dr. Nicole Krois grew up in West Des Moines. While attending the University of Iowa, she earned a B.A., M.A.T., and her D.D.S.  After dental school, Dr. Krois lived and practiced dentistry in Fort Collins, CO and later moved back to West Des Moines to join Dr. Dempsey, her childhood dentist. Dr. Krois is a member of the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association. In her freetime, Dr. Krois loves hiking, skiing, camping, biking, cooking, and running with her dog.  Dr. Krois loves creating a comfortable and inviting environment for patients. She enjoys getting to know patients while creating a personalized treatment plan because everyone is unique. Creating these relationships is one of the many reasons why Dr. Krois loves dentistry!
